Thermally expandable microspheres are physical expanding agents that expand with heat.
Expandable microspheres, which have a hollow spherical structure, consist of a polymer shell and a volatile core. These expand up to 40÷50 times their initial diameter when heated to appropriate temperatures to form a fine cellular foam. To meet customers' different process requirements, the UNICELL-MS series offers a wide range of products suitable for processing temperatures between 100 and 220 °C and particle sizes.
